Playing catch up....

A few rainy dreary days...what is one to do?? Position yourself in a central position to supervise, mediate and feed the children.... Take out your current BOMs and play catch up....yesterday I worked into the  Splendid Sampler ... I am way behind but slow n steady....

Today I have played with Sarah Fielkes BOM.... I had 19 stars to cut n sew....I chain pieced the half square triangles , they must have been a kilometre long lol...

Time for a rest this afternoon and watch Ever girls love Cinderella..... Can you pick the wrongly turned triangle lol...lucky only the individual blocks are stitched.....

Pies n Tarts....

What makes us put down the needle and thread when making these quilts to just store them away.....not sure why I stopped making this quilt, when it was two tarts from being put together....

Those that know me will agree it was probably another quilt lol...

I found using my aplisticks very useful for prying the templates from their home... I was a bit heavy handed with the glue on the first round of pies lol

I'm about to sit with the kids and watch Into the Woods ( for the hundredth time) and appliqué some tarts

So pull out an old UFO and give it some love ....

Old Time Kaleidoscope

BI've been a bit slack of late, having a 3 and 1/2 year old does lessen the time to sew...but I have managed to play with my Old Time Kaleidoscope ... I am trying to do a little every day...

Now it's the holidays, I should be able to sneak some machine time and catch up on The Splendid Sampler..

Happy Stítching Ladies xo
