I'm a busy girl

The weather is perfect for sewing....chilly thou.....My may blocks for the Nine patch swaps is finished yay....

                                     

And last night I started Anni Downs stitchery bag for the May stitchalong....nothing like stitching by a warm fire.....heaven!

Bon Noel...

I must be on a roll, and loving every minute of it. Here is a pic of my SAL commitment for April. Natalie Birds Bon Noel wall hanging, another tick. Tis raining here, another excuse for an afternoon of stitching!

Nine Patch Swap.....

Yay I've finally completed another set of Nine Patch swap blocks, unfortunately they are Aprils.....lol.....at least I have another tick, now to sew Aprils SAL wall hanging .....I know I know still not done!....I have almost two hours before I have to pick up the kidlets so fingers crossed I can finish it!
Miss 4 and I will have lunch then it's back to the sewing room!!! Miss 4 is sitting next to me playing the iPad ....all I hear is "that's my mermaid dress, that's my princess dress".... I'm sure I will dream about her "Dora" app tonight!!!!!

On the way home....

We have been home for a few days now, and it's been hectic....this afternoon I hope to finish my SAL Noel wall hanging, it's stitched, cut out and ready to be sewn together.....
I have to share this purchase from the Stitching Post, Katoomba. I haven't been to their store before, but must say it is a lovely store.I bought three fabric for my Nine Patch swap...and an impulse buy, a mini charm pack of Metropolitan Fair to add to the stash....ohh happy days lol

Enjoying the break...

It's been a lovely three days away, tomorrow we head home to the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives....I haven't read my book nor done any sewing, we have just been exploring the south coast...today we went to Kiama and Berry...the weather has been gorgeous beautiful warm autumn days....

Just arrived....for three nights in paradise,,,my favourite spot...just hubby and I...lovely Bulli Beach...no kidlets ...sniff sniff...but is my gift to hubby's for his birthday...hehehe and I benefit too...ohh happy days!!!! Yes ladies, I bought some hand sewing and an elms creek book for reading....
